The Radio

I recorded two radio promotions for "Over the River and Through the Woods" - one is a 60-second commercial with June Spencer, who plays my grandmother Emma. The other is a 30-second Public Service Announcement. Enjoy!

Cool. The spots are great. It was fun to hear you talking .....on the computer. How do you do that?

Well, I open my mouth and my larynx converts ... oh, regarding the computer part ...

The spots were actually recorded straight to a computer in the radio station, and the DJ (whose voice you hear on the :60 ad) edited the separate audio segments together (music, individual voices). He provided the Theatre's Marketing Director, Jim Treganza, with a digital copy. Jim was nice enough to burn a CD for me, which I promptly ripped onto my own computer and uploaded to my EarthLink web hosting space.

Addendum: I moved the files to my Mac.com space to avoid reaching my monthly traffic limit at EarthLink. And because I finally figured out how to link to files on my iDisk (when all else fails, read the directions)

Hah, "light rock, with less talk"! Words I never thought I would hear come out of your mouth. Well, the spots were great. See you in a week or so.
