Producer Ballard finishing Annie Lennox album
Grammy-winning songwriter-producer Glen Ballard is putting the final touches on Annie Lennox's first album in four years, which will be released in the fourth quarter.Although I would prefer it be produced by Marius de Vries (1992's Diva), I think the best songs on Aerosmith's Nine Lives album were the ones produced by Ballard.

Yahoo! It's about time! I heard a rumor (or maybe I dreamt it) that she was going to guest on "American Idol" sometime this season, along with some of our other favorites. Wha???? It's almost like that flawed film "American Dreamz" where they pull out all the stops for the finale.
I can't wait for her new album...perhaps she'll tour! Dare I dream???
Has she ever toured before as a solo artist? I seem to recall that she co-headlined a tour with Sting a few years back.
